A step towards excellence
OVAHS HAS PASSED THE ISO 9001:2015 accreditation for the 9th consecutive year 2021
The ISO 9001 standard is a recognised worldwide standard for Quality Management Systems (QMS) used by organisations of all sizes across all industry sectors. The ISO 9001 standard is designed to assist with the implementation of an efficient QMS, ensuring that organisations consistently conform to the required standards. This is achieved by emphasising a set of QMS key goals, principals, risk management framework, leadership support, consultation, objectives, safety cultures and resources supporting the operations which are important to every business in order to ensure that the needs of community and stakeholders are being properly addressed.
The recent COVID-19 crisis has made remote working far more widespread than it was before. In the past when establishing a business relationship with a new client, supplier or service provider, meeting key individuals in person at their business premises would have been the first point of contact. With COVID-19 crisis it has been less feasible, so it’s more important than ever to have a reliable means of evaluating a company’s quality.
While the internet has made information easier to find than ever before, it can still be difficult to spot high quality standards. Businesses can set up a website and tell the world that they offer a particular product or service – but ISO 9001 certification demonstrates that organisational business has customer-focused processes in place, their QMS has nil nonconformities and is dedicated to the pursuit of continuous improvement.
In 2021, OVAHS is proud to announce that it has been awarded the ISO 9001:2015 Accreditation for the 9th consecutive year.
There were nil nonconformities found during the 9th ISO surveillance audit which was held at OVAHS on the 30th November by Lead Auditor DNV. OVAHS has passed the QMS audit and determined it has capacity to systematically meet the current scope of certification. This highlights our Senior Management Team continually innovate and improve our processes and activities to best meet the expectations and requirements of our community. Our Primary Health Care Program services aim at the highest level of quality and, as a priority, at the satisfaction of our interested party’s community, clients, staff, certified accreditor, and Government funding bodies as key stakeholders.
This certification consolidates and rewards our approach that has made OVAHS successful for nine consecutive years. Evidence of continual improvement activities included:
- Lead, collaborate, and engage community stakeholders for COVID-19 vaccination initiatives
